Lovely Freeform Manifestation Quartz Cabochon. The slightly concave surface cleverly magnifies the inclusion and the back of the cabochon has been bevelled to improve the optics. A thoughtful and well made pendant from Julios' workshop using Fine 925 Sterling Silver.
Generally Manifestations include single crystals - this one is includes a cluster, with a small double terminated one floating below. I find this somewhat more ' Fun ' with the ability to focus one more than one project at a time. Apart from that outer focus, Manifestation Quartz also nurtures the inner you.
Manifestation Quartz is a rare formation where another Quartz Crystal is fully enclosed within a larger one. It's easy to think of the larger quartz as the Mother, but in face the smaller quartz was probably fully formed first then enclosed during later geothermal activity. Perhaps this is the key to it's name ~ the originally formed quartz, that which you were born with, manifesting a larger version. As Inside so Outside.
Ideally the inner crystal should be completely enclosed but these are extremely rare especially in small gems. More often the inner Crystal grows inwards from the edge, but it still formed first which makes it a Manifestation Crystal.
